耕運機のエンジンがかからなくなったので、ちょっと見てみたら、燃料ポンプが動いていないらしい。さっそく分解して整備してみました。

原因はガソリンが劣化したせいで、機械部品が固着して、スムーズに動かないことのようでした。全部バラバラにして、パーツを全て清掃してから、組み直してみたら、正常に動いてくれました。いや、もうホッとしましたよ。

農機の整備も業者に依頼すれば、安くはない出張整備料が必要になるから、自分で出来ることは、なるべく自分でしなくては。

農家も真面目にやろうとすると、植物のことばかりではなく、いろんな知識が要求される場合も多く、深く知らなくとも、広く浅く知っていた方が便利だし、日々の業務で疑問が湧いたことを調べだすと、本当にきりがないんですよね。奥が深いです。

そんな訳で、機械いじりも好奇心を刺激されて、時には楽しいものなんですけどね。

I couldn’t start the engine of my cultivator. It seemed to be caused by the trouble of the fuel pump. So I  overhauled it.

The old petrol looked to make the movement of each parts stuck. As I got all parts clean, all the movements worked smoothly again.

We have to pay the expensive charge, if we ask it to shops. So we do by ourselves whatever we can do.

If I seriously want to look up Agriculture, I need to have knowledge in the various domains.  Deep knowledge is rather unnecessary, but the wider shallow knowledge is practical, and the daily questions drive me to the curiosity of huge nature. It is limitless.

For this reason, maintaining machines are sometimes pleasurable to stimulate my curiosity.
