来園されたあるお客様に記念としてプレゼントしたファームたかおのオリジナルスイートピー。僕らはただその方の喜んでくださる笑顔を思っていました。

「これ、どうぞ。お花を楽しんでください」

「わあ、綺麗。ありがとうございます」

そんなやり取りがあって、和やかな一時はあっという間に過ぎ去り、お客様はお帰りになりました。その方のおかげで、その日はとても素敵な一日となり、見知らぬ人とまた一つ繋がったことも嬉しく思ったんです。

ところがこの物語はまだ続きがあります。

それから一週間程たったある日、全く知らない隣県の花屋さんから一本の電話がありました。

「もしもし、実は知人のカフェで今迄見たこともない素敵な色のスイートピーを見かけて、…」

その方のお話では、どうやら僕らがお花をプレゼントしたお客様が、そのお花を独り占めするのはもったいないからと、仲良しのカフェにお裾分けしたそうで、それをその方が見つけて何処で入手したのか尋ねたら、うちの農園だと判明した、ということでした。ちょっとややこしい話ですが、要するにお花が全く面識のない四人の人間を次々繋げて、新たな出会いを作ったという訳なんです。

何とも素敵で嬉しい人の縁ならぬ花の縁。僕らが益々頑張っていこうと思えた出来事でした。

We gave a visitor our original sweet peas for the gift. We were just looking for her smile having a little pleasurable time with flowers then.

“Please. We hope these flowers would make you happy.”

“Wow! It’s beautiful. Thank you. “

We had a such communication. Then the nice calm time passed quickly, and she went back.

She made our time very nice then, and we felt happy as we had a new relationship with the person we had never known.

However this story still continued.

One day after about a week from that day, we had a phone call from the florist we didn’t know, who are in the next prefecture.

“Hello, I actually saw the beautiful coloured sweet peas I had never seen before in my friend’s cafe…”

The person said that our visitor we had given flowers sheared her gift with a friend who owns a cafe, to think it was too luxurious for her alone. The person saw it by chance and asked where they got it, and realised it was from our farm.

It is a little complicated story, but our flowers connected four people one by one, who never know each other, and could make new relationship, to sum up.

It is the very nice and pleasurable relationship of people, or of flowers. We also think we can work harder as we hear this story.
